SierraSentry was started in February of 2005, is licensed (Business License #9970), fully insured and has been a member of the Calaveras County Visitors Bureau, the Calaveras Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Arnold Business Association.
It’s important for us to give back to our local community. We love to share fun things to do on Hwy4Fun and post road videos on our YouTube Hwy4Fun Channel. We have participated and fundraised for the American Cancer Society’s Calaveras County Relay For Life and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Team in Training Cross-Country Ski Program. We have served on the board of directors of The Ebbetts Pass Scenic Byway Association.
Since 2006 we have been a proud participant in the Hwy 4 Adopt-A-Hwy Clean-up Program. The SierraSentry stretch of Hwy 4 is 6 miles and runs from before Meko Drive to just past the slide area. This is a beautiful stretch of Hwy 4 and we are happy we get to keep it clean. If you see trash along this stretch, please let us know.
